Ramachandran Parameswaran alias Chandru was born to my paternal aunt Smt. K. Bhagavathy alias Chellammal and her husband Shri Parameswaran in the year 1949.
Since childhood he and his brother were brought up in difficult circumstances and were dependant on their uncles. Braving all odds, my cousin Ramachandran proved his mite by becoming the first Graduate in the family by his perseverence and hard work. He completed his graduation in Commerce with a Second Class by pursuing his studies in the evening after a whole day's work as Accountant in Keen Pesticides, a private company in Kochi.
On 4th October 1975, he wedded Kum. Jayanthi Rathnaswamy at the holy temple town of Palani. He has two children - son Makesh Ramachandran and daughter Sukanya Sridhar. Later, he worked as the Accounts Officer for Keltron Electronics, Thrissur when he moved to his own residence at Kolazhy, Thrissur district of Kerala. In early 1990s, he left his job in India and became a resident of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, working as the Chief Accountant for Ahmed Abdul Rahman & Sons, an Al Rais Group company, until superannuation in 2009 January when he returned to India.
